Final project - part 1
Most of the self-portraits are done! As usual, I tried to leave everyone a lot of leeway and wiggleroom. I think the results show just how individual our voices really are. Compare the many ways in which everyone expressed themselves. Remember to click on the thumbnails to enlarge them.
Below is Anna's pencil drawing with her wall of important things and a clean sink in the artroom!

Above, Ashley Gibiser used a playful technique to capture herself. Below, Kelsie used collage work to tell about herself - and kept herself partially hidden.
Below, Jon found some stark lighting for his face and kept his artist/maker hands even more stark.
There are three self-portraits that I will post next week - and the week after, I will reveal the artists' photographs!

Above Steffanie chose to use "Chuck Close" like embellishments in each part of her grid - and she decided to try three separate media - paint, oil pastels and colored pencils.
